You are invited to join the Fielder’s Choice staff for our 3-day Overall Skills Camp this Spring Break. Campers have the option for a morning or afternoon session to receive baseball instruction from our leading trainers. We cover all facets of the game in a fun and stimulating environment.

Instructional Breakdown

Hitting- Stance/Setup, Load & Stride, Vison & Timing, Improve Bat Speed and Power

Fielding- Players choose their position and we break down infield, outfield and catching techniques

Pitching- Introduction to the 5 steps in the pitching delivery

Baserunning- Learn ways to become a complete player!

Equipment:  bring a glove, bat, helmet and wear sneakers and athletic clothing.

Camp & Clinic Refund Policy

Fielder’s Choice offers a full refund for cancelations made more than two weeks prior to the event.  Cancellations made less than two weeks prior to the start date will result in a credit toward any other camp or clinic at Fielder’s Choice.  No exceptions.  There are no make-ups, credits or refunds due to player absences or cancellations after the event begins. We will make every effort to reschedule, but cannot guarantee that weather related interruptions or unplanned facility closures will result in a make-up.  Fielder’s Choice reserves the right to cancel each event.

2021 FC Baseball Camps COVID 19 Precautions and Guidelines

Screening- All campers will be COVID screened at check in.  Non-contact temperatures will be taken and we ask you to please stay home if you or your camper have experienced any symptoms that cannot be attributed to another health condition such as: fever of 100.4 or higher, or other symptoms such as cough, shortness of breath, exposure to someone that has tested COVID positive, muscle aches or sore throat

Contact-  No hand-shakes, high fives, fist bumps, hugs, etc.

Equipment and spacing–  Equipment should be spaced out 10’ and no sharing

Masks– These are optional during exercise but must be worn at all other times (entering, exiting, etc)

Distancing– Players and coaches are to remain 10’ apart.

Cleaning and Sanitizing-Baseballs and other equipment will be periodically cleaned and sprayed with sanitizer before camp begins and throughout each day

Water and Snacks– There will be no communal water available at this camp.  Campers should bring their own water and drinks as well as a snack.  This camp does not offer a lunch break, but we will make time for a quick, light snack.

Hand Sanitizer– It is recommended that all players bring their own hand-cleaning materials.  The camp will have a 70% alcohol sanitizing mist on hand as well.

The Baseball Winter Workout Program, presented by Fielder’s Choice, is designed to allow high school students the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming baseball season while working with  high school coaches.  Attending these workouts is not mandatory for prospective HS players and does not guarantee a player will be offered a position on a high school team. This clinic is open to all high school aged players.

Participants must wear a mask when entering and exiting the building.  Masks may be removed only during exercise and participants must maintain at least ten feet of physical distancing between each other at all times.

No one with a fever or symptoms of COVID-19, if they have a positive diagnostic test for the virus that causes COVID-19, or known exposure to a COVID-19 case in the prior 14 days, is permitted in the establishment.

Join Woodgrove High School head baseball Coach Rusty Smith for a three-day camp open to all middle-school aged baseball players interested in playing at the high-school level.

Coach Smith along with current college coaches and players teach the fundamentals and techniques used at the high school level and beyond. The instructors will take players through drills, philosophies, and training methods used on a daily basis in their programs, as well as discuss what coaches look for and what it takes to play high school and college baseball.

•Ages: Current 6th-8th graders interested in playing at the high-school level

Baseball and Multi-Sport Camp

Choose 1 Day, 2 Days, or All 3 Days

Join the FC Staff of current and former HS and college players for instruction in all facets of the game.  Each morning is filled with drills and skill development, and after lunch campers enjoy a variety of team sports and games on the training floor.
